One day out of the blue, an alien mass of machines crashes through the sky and falls to pieces over as it makes its descent to the ground. By the time it makes its landing in the woods, there's only a small container left of it for our young protagonist to find at the crash site. Allowing it some time to cool down first, he opens it up to find a round fist sized screen terminal that somehow manages to stick to any surface regardless of material. It eventually settles on the back of his hand at which point he discovers that it's some sort of control interface for a catalog of devices marked by alien glyphs. 

He sees that one of the devices is highlighted so he clicks on it and an explicable magnetic force pulls on his arms further into the woods. It leads him to one of machine pieces that fell off during the fall. Information starts filling head as he gets close and it drives him to touch it with the terminal. The device begins to fold over on itself and the over his forearm shrinking and reshaping itself into gauntlet that grants his right arm the strength to punch a hole right through a nearby tree. After messing around a bit, he figures out that there's more of these things spread out across the region and that he needs to retrieve them before they cause any trouble. 

From this point it's the story of a young hero who steadily builds up his power armor and superhero persona piece by piece as he faces down threats both terresterial and extraterresterial showing up one by one in pursuit of these devices. Every device he retrieves adds a new ability and armor piece to his set. Different pieces don't necessarily fill the gaps missing and some can only be used alternately due to overlapping roles or antagonistic compatibility with one another so he has to resort to wearing a makeshift base armor to make up for it. On top of that, he can only pull out armor parts piece by piece so he has to be prepared to go deploy in full gear or else he'll have to Kuuga his way through it. The helmet will be the last part that gets filled and MC does it by moving the terminal on top of his base helmet.

There'll be several factions and a few more of those control terminals showing up for rivaling armors that can steal parts from each other. Plot has them gathering the devices and fending off aliens until the main control unit of the machines wakes up and goes after the armor wearers. They fight it off but one of the rivals highjacks it and then it becomes about being who's going to do what with the tech after they get them all. Final arc has several smaller comets arriving that turn out to be transformers sent to destroy the original. They get taken out one by one depleting the devices till there are only enough for two full sets of armor and finale has MC and Rival dueling by stealing parts off each other destroying enough of them till only MC has any armor left.
